Leveraging SharePoint as a Project Management tool

Many organizations have implemented SharePoint but are not maximizing their investment for business solutions. They may be using it for team sites, as a glorified file share, or haven’t yet identified a use case. In this session, you will learn about capabilities available in SharePoint to help you establish a consistent yet flexible framework. that will help project managers and their teams work more efficiently as well as report consistent project status information to stakeholders. You will see examples of how companies are using SharePoint to better engage project teams and improve the project management process while driving user adoption. By attending this session, you will have a better understanding of project management principles, learn ways to utilize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, content types, site columns, and dashboards for project management, and walk away with ideas that you can implement in your own organization.
